The trustees have been making use of their talents and also the talents and gifts of the entire church family to maintain and update our church facilities and surrounding properties.

Some old trees were taken out and the lawn was replanted. Our new rear parking lot was graveled and new signs were installed in the church making our church an attractive and inviting place for all who enter.

The parsonage received many upgrades and improvements this year. The air conditioner and appliances had to be replaced as happens with any of our homes.

Our rental property, the RAVE facility, also needed several repairs and replacements this year.

We have a great trustee committee with good participation and willing to look at the future goals and needs of the congregation and community. We realize our responsibilities and trust which our church family has placed in us.

As the trustees look ahead at 2009 and the future of our church, we would like to challenge our congregation to think about what they would like to see done to enhance our church. Could it be a cemented parking lot? Or maybe a Power Point System to enhance our worship experience? Or what should we be doing for the community? The trustees know that anything we do would be a large undertaking but don't forget we have Great Big God working with us as well as each other. Isn't that a great feeling!
